My name is Shirley Mello and I live in Oregon Mechelle and I have been friends for 31 years. I lost my little yorkie/Chihuahua mix in January and just couldn’t do without a little walking lap buddie. Dash is such an amazing dog with a huge personality and I love him so much. I’ve seen a lot of Mechelle’s puppies and been to her house, they are raised with lots of love.
After searching months for a perfect chihuahua we came upon Mechelle and Jamie, and they happened to be 20 minutes from our home! Once meeting both of them we were welcomed with loving hearts and warm puppy kisses. This is where we found our perfect little “Princess” she now only weighs 2lbs at 14 weeks old. Not only a doll but smart as can be! She has learned to come to her name, understands no, and knows how to sit for a treat!! Jaime was in constant contact sending me updated photos along the way until she was ready to come home at 10 weeks. She was vet checked, vaccinated, with papers and healthy as can be before coming home. We cannot be more blessed knowing such wonderful people like Mechelle and Jaime! I wouldn’t look

This is our new puppy lucky. I got him in two months in his now 3 1/2. We love this dog he has the best personality and he is so smart. We live in Southern California and I have been looking for a long-haired Chihuahua for sometime. His absolutely the best. We met Mechelle Mann at the Sacramento airport where we picked up our special bundle Her puppies are extra special. Worth every penny !!!
When we came across Mechelles puppies we had to have one so we drove from Montana to California to get Chloe they are the cutest chihuahuas we have ever seen we ended up bringing home Sugar also they are so lovable and such personality she is a great Breeder and loves her dogs we are so very happy we found her and Chloe and Sugar they are bringing so much happiness to our lives. I picked up little Astro at 8 weeks old. Mechelle and her daughter were very communicative throughout the entire process, and I was super impressed and thankful for their knowledge and care. Astro is super sweet, and I attribute that to the care that Mechelle has put into her dog family. I received a lot of information regarding AKC registration and veterinary care (his first shots and dewormer) before I picked him up. Mechelle has stayed in contact with me to make sure that all the paperwork is good and he stays healthy. Astro is now 11 weeks old, and he is so curious and adventurous. I can’t wait for the years I’ll get to spend with him.

My sweet Bentley was 9 weeks when we met! My husband and I knew we needed a quality playmate for our 6 month chihuahua puppy and started to search. When we saw this cute little boy with his beautiful colors we knew he was the one. We feel in love right away. It’s the best choice we made by far and he gets along so well as if they always knew each other, we too have bonded. Thank you to Mechelle (and Bentley’s sweet family) for raising these amazing pups. I received many text messages photos and updates throughout the entire process. Bentley was all secure in his crate with a soft blanket upon his arrival and I know he was never afraid on his airplane ride! We got our sweet and energetic little white boy, Spark, when he was 9 weeks old. Mechelle said she could fly him at 8 weeks old but we would like him to recover from the shot at his 8th week first and Mechelle was very willing to coordinate with us. Mechelle is such a loving person to all her Chihuahua and helps answer any questions we have. We coordinated with Mechelle to fly him over via cargo. He arrived in a well-prepared cage with a soft blanket. She also included his original food so we can ease him to start eating a different brand afterward. The paper you need for him also came with the cargo. I recommend Mechelle if you are looking to find a sweet little Apple Head Chihuahua companion. We are so in love with Spark!
Mechelle was fabulous the entire process, from contacting her initially, to picking up our darling puppy, she was helpful and kind. Our puppy is a million times better than I ever could have imagined! Her transition from Mechelle’s home to ours was seamless, she didn’t even whine! This proves Mechelle provided much love and care to the puppies in their first weeks of life, which makes bringing them home that much easier. I would recommend Ivy League chihuahuas to anyone thinking about getting a chi, the most loving and beautiful breed in the world! I was looking for a new Chihuahua and found a couple breeders online with puppies at the time. I went with ivy league because they had pictures of the actual babies that would be available once old enough. I sent a message on their online contact link and quickly got a response, I believe less than an hour after sending it. Mechelle was super helpful and answered all my questions and sent additional pictures including the parents. So I decided on my pup and placed the deposit to hold her then for the entire time the puppy was growing Mechelle kept me up to date on her progress, including numerous pitches/videos. I live in Long Beach, CA and we agreed to meet in Sacramento in order to pick up the pup in person. She and her daughter were incredibly friendly and answered our final questions, and even understood when I had to go to the bank to move funds between accounts, without any problems. My baby is in perfect health, a beautiful fun pup who was well trained even at a young age. If you’re looking for a chihuahua puppy I definitely recommend Mechelle and Ivy League Chihuahuas.
We reside in Victorville, Ca. We really appreciate the effort Michelle and her daughter in bringing our Happy & Charm to us. We wouldnt want it any other way. We were love at first sight. We love them a little more each day. Happy loves his sister Charm so much that when I get Charm for her dr appointment , Happy cries. Charm also cried when Happy was sent to his dr for checkup. Happy is very clingly, he wants close to me all the time. Charm on the other hand is very independent and adventurous. I love them both so much!
Jamie and Mechelle were wonderful to work with! They even let me come meet Casper before we bought him. My vet was so impressed with his health and socialization that she wanted to know where we got him so she could get one from them as well. I love how they raise their puppies as part of the family. Casper came home and just took over like he had always been here and is such a big part of our family. We would definitely buy from them again.
We are so blessed to have gotten two puppies from Mechelle. All of her puppies are the cutest Chihuahuas you’ve ever seen, with the best dispositions of any chihuahuas I’ve ever come across, obviously the result of excellent breeding. We got one of her puppies and, unfortunately and sadly, our 19-year-old and 20-year-old Chihuahuas both passed away within a month. Since we were so happy with our puppy from Mechelle, we asked to get another puppy from her. They are both wonderful. The process of obtaining them from Mechelle was made so easy because of her superior professionalism and knowledge. We live in Huntington Beach, CA and drove to Redding, CA round trip both times. That’s over 8 hours each way, according to Google maps. Well worth the trips! If we ever get another Chihuahua, it will definitely be for Mechelle. By the way, when we take them to the beach, everyone goes crazy over them!
We are so in love with this little guy (Connor). He is amazing!
She loves to play outside. It makes me giggle…but she just runs and runs in the grass…. (and she is FAST) …..She picks up little sticks and leaves and puts them in a bed….. She a little outdoor explorer….. It’s super cute….. she uses the little doggie door now for potty too.
